The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Accounting is accepting applications for one or more term adjunct (part-time) faculty positions. This includes teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses. The Department is building a pool of qualified instructors to fill teaching needs as they arise, not hiring for specific courses or semesters.

About the Role

This position involves conducting and teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars. Responsibilities also include serving as an academic adviser for students and evaluating student coursework. Other duties may include engaging in activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities, reviewing, and responding to University-related communications.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars
  • Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject
  • Ability to work and collaborate with others

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field
