ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR – BIOLOGY
About the role
The Department of Biological Sciences at Edgewood University invites applications for part-time adjuncts to teach courses in introductory biology and environmental science in the Fall of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab (when applicable).
- Working with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course.
- Maintaining an updated course site through an online LMS (Canvas) throughout the semester.
Qualifications
- Necessary Education or Work Experience: Master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field required; a PhD is preferred. Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred.
- Other Qualifications: Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without Employer Sponsorship.
