Duties and Responsibilities
- In-person instruction at one or both of the following scheduled times: 1) Family Violence and Public Intervention: MWF, 1pm-1:50pm; 2) Victimology: MWF, 2pm-2:50pm
- Hold 2-3 office hours each week, in-person or online
- Apply University guidelines for curriculum instruction, departmental guidelines for teaching and learning including appropriate assignments and grading responsibilities
- Maintain D2L course management system, MS TEAMS, and MS Outlook communication with department Chair, faculty, and students
Qualifications
Required: Master's degree or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred: Master's degree in Sociology, Criminology, Social Welfare, Law, or related Social Sciences education and background. Experience teaching at the college/university level is required. Knowledge of D2L platform or related experience with Canvas/Blackboard preferred.
