Essential Functions
- Teach classes as assigned from the regular criminology program curriculum.
- Prepare syllabi and deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assigned.
- Appropriately respond to student needs and feedback.
- Affirmatively assess the course learning outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners.
- Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy.
- Submit mid-term and final grades on time.
- Advise and/or mentor students through electronic communications and other appropriate methods.
- Complete all required training, including training on Engage LMS.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Candidates should have a Master’s degree or above in Criminology or Criminal Justice.
- Will consider a Master’s degree in a related field with an area of specialization in criminal justice.
- Affinity with the Mission of the University of Saint Mary.
