Adjunct (Security Studies and Criminal Justice)

Angelo State University is developing a pool of potential adjuncts for temporary appointments to teach courses in the Security Studies and Criminal Justice department. The department determines the number and types of courses assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare syllabus and course materials
• Deliver lectures and/or labs
• Grade assignments and assign final grades

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or other evidence of professional qualifications in the subject area (doctorate preferred)
• Knowledge sufficient to teach the course(s) and/or lab(s)
• Ability to prepare materials and deliver effective classroom presentations
• Prior college-level teaching experience preferred

Pay

• Doctorate: $3,230 per course
• Master’s: $2,584 per course
