About the role
Teach specific classes in the designated discipline.

- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of NOVA and the VCCS.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in the teaching field with demonstrated competencies OR appropriately related education and/or occupational certifications combined with substantial related experience in the occupational field.
- A minimum of two years of full-time, related occupational experience.
- Valid Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Universal Certification (EPA 40 CFR of Section 608).
- Master HVAC license.
- At least 8 years of HVAC field experience.

- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- The ability to relate basic principles to students.
- The ability to use instructional technology.
- The ability to present course material in a manner commensurate with students’ level of learning.

Pay
Adjunct faculty teaching PSY are paid per credit hour based on rank: Instructor ($935), Assistant Professor ($1,047), Associate Professor ($1,160), and Professor ($1,249).
