Job Description

Periodically, Adjunct Teaching Positions Become Available In The Architecture & Construction Management Department. The Following Courses In Construction Materials, Assemblies And Specifications Are Part Of The Architectural Engineering Technology And Construction Management Engineering Technology Programs CON161 - Materials and Methods of Construction ICON162 - Materials and Methods of Construction IICON361- Government, Building, Environmental, Codes & Regulations Go to Courses (farmingdale.edu) for specific course descriptions. Please submit your resume if you would be interested in teaching any of the above courses. In your cover letter, please include which of these courses you've already taught, are interested in teaching, or could teach if asked to do so. Please indicate if you are available to teach in the day, evening, or both. You will be called when a position becomes available.

Job Requirements

  • MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: B. Arch. (5 year), or M. Arch., or BS Arch. and MS in related field, or BS in related field with construction project management experience.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications: Architectural Registration (RA) license or Certification by Professional Construction organization. 3 years of professional work experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
