About the role
Support, monitor, and interact with residents, providing positive role modeling. Maintain records of resident behaviors and actions; support clinical treatment plans. Perform housekeeping, laundry, and supply organization tasks. Administer medications, monitor medication adherence, and respond to emergencies. Assist with life skills activities, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation. Collect urine specimens, administer breathalyzer tests, and provide basic first aid. Facilitate educational group activities and communicate effectively with external partners, maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; related experience or college credits preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve independently, and work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of computer systems for documentation and communication.
- Physical ability to perform duties in a community-based environment, including outdoor activities.
Preferred Skills
- Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration.
