Responsibilities

  • Supporting, monitoring, and providing positive role modeling for residents within established policies.
  • Maintaining records of resident behavior and observations, and supporting clinical treatment plans.
  • Assisting with medication monitoring, general housekeeping, and life skills activities like meal prep and shopping.
  • Transporting residents, collecting urine specimens, administering breathalyzer tests, and providing basic first aid.
  • Responding to emergencies, supporting residents' goals, and participating in training and meetings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or coursework in social services preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; knowledge of DHS procedures preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a community-based environment, with physical ability to perform duties, including outdoor activities.
