Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support, monitor, and encourage residents working toward recovery in a structured environment.
- Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development.
- Complete documentation, maintain confidential records, and administer medications as per policies.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests when needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements.
- Willingness to complete DHS training after hire.
