Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support, encouragement, and positive role modeling to residents
- Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintain confidential records and complete documentation accurately
- Monitor or administer medications following program policies
- Respond effectively to emergencies and crises
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed
- Lead educational groups and support residents' treatment goals
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to complete DHS training after hire
