Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support, encouragement, and serve as a positive role model for residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development.
- Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation accurately.
- Monitor or administer medications per program policies.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
- Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Attend trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license preferred and must meet driving requirements.
- Completion of DHS training may be required after hire.
