Recovery Support Professional - No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, encouragement, and serve as a positive role model for residents.
• Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development.
• Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation accurately.
• Monitor or administer medications per program policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
• Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities.
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
• Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license preferred and must meet driving requirements.
• Completion of DHS training may be required after hire.
