Recovery Support Professional - No Degree Required

About the role

The Adult Residential Support Professional provides compassionate support to residents in a residential addiction treatment setting, focusing on recovery and sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents
• Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
• Maintain confidential client records and complete required documentation
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies appropriately
• Transport residents and lead educational groups to support treatment goals
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Willingness to complete DHS training after hire
