Responsibilities
- Congducting psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
- Diagnosing mental health disorders and developing treatment plans.
- Providing psychotherapy or counseling.
- Prescribing and managing medications as needed.
- Monitoring and following up with patients to track progress.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Specialized training in psychiatric mental health nursing.
- Experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) of at least 5 years.
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of addiction medicine and its treatment.
- Comprehensive understanding of mental health conditions such as addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and stress-related problems.
