About the role

Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid State driver’s license
• Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
• Complete Basic 16‑hour Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure)
• Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable timeframes take precedence over internally established timeframes for IAHSS certification
• Ability to read and write the English language
