Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

Join a 26-bed Acute Care Medicine unit providing comprehensive care for diverse medical-surgical patients, including occasional trach cases. As a registered nurse, you will deliver direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, promoting patient and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree with RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience preferred.
