Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (Full-Time) (Night Shift)

Role Overview

This position provides direct patient care in a 26‑bed acute care unit specializing in medical‑surgical cases, including occasional tracheostomy patient care. The RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient needs while promoting patient‑ and family‑centered care, safety, and quality standards. The role involves developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and document care plans in collaboration with the care team and patients.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment care, and medication use.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
• Engage in professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• No prior experience required; preferred at least 2 years of relevant nursing practice.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
