About the role
Join a dedicated acute care unit managing diverse medical-surgical patients, including trach care, on a 26-bed unit with a patient ratio of 4/5:1.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
- Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, along with ongoing professional development.
- Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
