About the role
Join a 25-bed acute care unit providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs
- Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities
- Contribute to professional development
- Develop, implement, and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families
- Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safety awareness
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree and RN licensure (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred)
