Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Full-Time Nights

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance through active participation in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Communicate effectively across the continuum of care to ensure seamless patient management.
• Participate in safety initiatives and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support patient education regarding post-treatment care, medication administration, and health management.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Skills: Critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.
