Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Full-Time Nights

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Participate in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the care team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Maintain safety-sensitive work practices, demonstrating alertness and safe behavior at all times.

Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license required.
• Experience: No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications.
