About the Role
Provides comprehensive direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Ensures patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
- Performs ongoing assessments of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, and spiritual factors.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and active RN license (required).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
- Less than two years of experience (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills.
