Job Description

• Manages short- and long-term objectives through coordination of activities and direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
• Maintains proper staffing and operations at all contracted facilities, ensuring efficient scheduling and utilization of resources.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports, partnering with HR on employee matters.
• Acts as an advisor to subordinates, resolving technical problems and overseeing hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures compliance with hospital regulations and participates in surveys conducted by TJC, CMS, OSHA, and other agencies.
• Ensures efficient utilization of supplies and equipment, and manages treatment information and billing.
• Conducts acute staff meetings and ensures provision of dialysis and related services.
• Collaborates with contracted facility representatives to maintain survey readiness and resolve department issues.
• Maintains and prepares QAI data and presentations, participating in meetings with internal and external representatives.
• Interacts with internal departments and external customers, particularly in problem resolution and acting as the industry expert.
• Ensures compliance with hospital regulations and participates in surveys conducted by TJC, CMS, OSHA and other agencies.
• Ensures a proper orientation and training program for all clinical and technical staff, and provides continuing in-services.
• Confers with Technical Program Manager and Technical Operations Manager to ensure preventative maintenance, repair of disabled machines, and communication of technical information.
• Ensures all acute treatments are performed according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
