Acute Care Physical Therapist

About the Role

This role involves screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures in line with professional standards. You will consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers, while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient progress and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with billing and regulatory requirements
• Supervise staff and students as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to program development and marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Basic computer skills
• Relevant experience with the target patient population
