Acute Care Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality acute care nursing for patients with complex medical conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, social workers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Nurses will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, promoting patient safety, education, and family-centered care. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, diagnosis, and care planning.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-discharge care, and medication administration.
• Participate in safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop and communicate detailed care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, considering individual values and cultural factors.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work safely and alertness in a healthcare environment.

Pay

$15,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule
