About the role

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients to ensure effective communication across care transitions.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Maintaining safety as a priority, working in a constant state of alertness.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least two years of experience.
