Acumatica Project Lead/Manager

Responsibilities
- Guide clients and internal teams from kickoff to go-live, ensuring alignment, information, and confidence.
- Lead the delivery of project management consulting services for Acumatica clients, including internal project reporting, resource management, client management, project budgeting, finance, planning, control, and communication.
- Deliver a full range of services such as internal project reporting and administration, resource management, client management, project budgeting/accounting/finance, project planning, project control, and project communication.
- Work closely with internal and external clients, providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.
- Support and coordinate your team, assigning roles and responsibilities based on skills, availability, and project needs, collaborating with internal and external resources to deliver high-quality results.
- Drive project financial health, monitoring budget, burn rate, and earned value, managing change orders, ensuring accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and timely follow-ups, and providing simple, meaningful project reporting to leadership.
- Communicate like a pro, providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps, creating simple, effective project documentation when needed, and ensuring all stakeholders — internal and external — always know what’s happening.
Requirements
Experience managing ERP projects, ideally with Acumatica. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A calm, organized, proactive approach to problem-solving. Emotional ownership — caring deeply about delivering a great client experience. A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to help your team succeed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a business leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and national in scope.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting.
- Good computer skills, proficient with MS office applications.
- Knowledge of workforce strategies developed in other sectors is an asset.
- Knowledge of labor force strategies would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
