Acumatica Project Lead/Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide clients and internal teams from project kickoff to go-live, ensuring alignment, information sharing, and confidence.
• Lead the delivery of project management consulting services for Acumatica clients, including internal project reporting, resource management, client management, project budgeting, finance, planning, control, and communication.
• Deliver a full range of services such as internal project reporting and administration, resource management, client management, project budgeting/accounting/finance, project planning, project control, and project communication.
• Work closely with internal and external clients to provide project management consulting services.
• Lead projects with confidence and clarity, owning the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery and post-go-live support.
• Track progress, risks, budget, and key metrics without overwhelming the team with administrative tasks.
• Flag issues early and create practical, team-aligned contingency plans.
• Build strong, positive relationships with client stakeholders and set clear expectations throughout the project.
• Translate technical details into clear, human-friendly updates and keep clients informed, calm, and confident, even during challenging times.
• Support and coordinate your team by assigning roles and responsibilities based on skills, availability, and project needs, collaborating with internal and external resources to deliver high-quality results, and fostering a team culture of transparency, accountability, and shared success.
• Drive project financial health by monitoring budget, burn rate, and earned value with a practical, business-minded approach, managing change orders with clarity and confidence, ensuring accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and timely follow-ups, and keeping leadership informed with simple, meaningful project reporting.
• Communicate like a pro by providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps, creating simple, effective project documentation when needed, ensuring all stakeholders — internal and external — are always informed, and using sound judgment to escalate issues at the right time, in the right way.

Requirements

Experience managing ERP projects, particularly with Acumatica. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A calm, organized, proactive approach to problem-solving. Emotional ownership — caring deeply about delivering a great client experience. A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to help your team succeed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a business leadership position.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of workforce strategies developed in other sectors is an asset.
• Knowledge of labor force strategies is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
