Acumatica Project Lead/Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of project management consulting services for Acumatica clients.
- Work closely with internal and external clients to provide a full range of services including internal project reporting and administration, resource management, client management, project budgeting/accounting/finance, project planning, project control, and project communication.
- Own the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery and post-go-live support.
- Track progress, risks, budget, and key metrics without overwhelming the team with administrative tasks.
- Flag issues early and create practical contingency plans to ensure smooth project execution.
- Build strong, positive relationships with client stakeholders and set clear expectations throughout the project.
- Translate technical details into clear, human-friendly updates and keep clients informed, calm, and confident, even during challenging times.
- Support and coordinate your team by assigning roles and responsibilities based on skills, availability, and project needs, collaborating with internal and external resources to deliver high-quality results, fostering a transparent, accountable, and successful team culture.
- Drive project financial health by monitoring budget, burn rate, and earned value, managing change orders with clarity and confidence, ensuring accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and timely follow-ups, and providing simple, meaningful project reporting to leadership.
- Communicate like a pro by providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps, creating simple, effective project documentation when needed, ensuring all stakeholders are informed, and using sound judgment to escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
Experience managing ERP projects, particularly with Acumatica. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A calm, organized, proactive approach to problem-solving. Emotional ownership—caring deeply about delivering a great client experience. A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to help your team succeed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a business leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of workforce strategies developed in other sectors is an asset.
- Knowledge of labor force strategies is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
