Acumatica Project Lead/Manager

Responsibilities
- Guide clients and internal teams from project kickoff to go-live, ensuring alignment, information, and confidence.
- Lead the delivery of project management consulting services for Acumatica clients, including internal project reporting, resource management, client management, project budgeting, finance, planning, control, and communication.
- Work closely with internal and external clients to provide a full range of services.
- Lead projects with confidence and clarity, owning the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery and post-go-live support.
- Track progress, risks, budget, and key metrics without overwhelming the team with administrative tasks.
- Flag issues early and create practical, team-aligned contingency plans.
- Build strong, positive relationships with client stakeholders and set clear expectations throughout the project.
- Translate technical details into clear, human-friendly updates and ensure clients feel supported and delighted with the final outcome.
- Support and coordinate your team by assigning roles and responsibilities, collaborating with internal and external resources, and fostering a transparent, accountable, and successful team culture.
- Drive project financial health by monitoring budget, burn rate, and earned value, managing change orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing and timely follow-ups.
- Communicate like a pro by providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps, creating simple, effective project documentation, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Requirements
Experience managing ERP projects, particularly with Acumatica. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A calm, organized, proactive approach to problem-solving. Emotional ownership—caring deeply about delivering a great client experience. A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to help your team succeed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a business leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of workforce strategies developed in other sectors is an asset.
- Knowledge of labor force strategies would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
