ACSW or AMFT

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to program clients one-to-one and in-person
• Perform psychosocial evaluations
• Provide cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention
• Document treatment and client progress
• Participate in clinical team meetings
• Take a leadership role in individual treatment team planning
• Consult and collaborate with clinical, ancillary and security staff
• Ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services

Requirements

• Full-time position
• Mondays through Fridays, daytime hours
• Primary location at George Bailey Detention Facility and Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness and incompetence to stand trial
• Experience providing mental health services in a forensic setting
• Experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy and crisis intervention
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Knowledge of San Diego County jail facilities and their operations
