Fair Labor Standards Act Classification: Non-Exempt | 10-month term | Part-Time | Classified position with pro-rated benefits. Starting salary: $16.00 per hour (Pay Grade: ACES GCS).

Special Requirements

• This position requires an additional Criminal Background Check (CBC) through the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). If selected, you must:
  • Review video tutorials on the NCDHHS website.
  • Obtain an NCID (NC Identity Management Service) via this link.
  • Begin the CBC application process here. Enter your addresses for the past 5 years. If you lived out-of-state, DHHS will email instructions for each state’s background check, which may incur additional costs.
  • Pay a $26.50 fee via credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) at the end of the application. Print your receipt for reimbursement if hired.
  • Within 7 days of completing the application, get fingerprinted via LIVESCAN. Bring a valid ID and $10 cash. Print your receipt for reimbursement if hired. LIVESCAN locations:
    • Greensboro Police Department
    • Guilford County Sheriff
    • High Point Police Department
  • After completing the CBC application and fingerprinting, you will receive an email from the DHHS CBC Portal with your results. Log in with your NCID to view them.
  • If cleared, you will receive a letter stating you are QUALIFIED under the NC Child Care Act. Upload this letter to your GCS application before HR approval to begin work.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
