We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to lead receivables operations for a logistics organization in Franklin, Tennessee. This role oversees billing, cash posting, collections activity, and account aging while supporting timely and accurate revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities
- Direct daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring invoices, payments, and account balances are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Lead commercial collections efforts by monitoring outstanding balances, following up with customers, and reducing delinquent accounts.
- Review aging activity regularly to identify payment trends, prioritize collection actions, and escalate risk where needed.
- Oversee cash application tasks to confirm incoming payments are posted correctly and exceptions are resolved promptly.
- Manage billing workflows to support accurate invoice generation, documentation, and customer account maintenance.
- Supervise and develop receivables staff, setting performance expectations and providing guidance on workload and issue resolution.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate discrepancies, reconcile account issues, and improve overall receivables efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience leading accounts receivable functions, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong background in commercial collections and customer account follow-up.
- Working knowledge of cash application processes, billing activities, and account reconciliation.
- Ability to analyze aging reports and take action to improve collection performance.
- Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in financial operations.
