Responsibilities
- Execute A/R function for our core programs
- Prepare customer A/R invoices that accurately reflect agreements and payment terms
- Track outstanding A/R and follow up with customers, representing Array and our programs in a professional manner on all communications
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain relationships with customers
- Respond timely and professionally to inquiries surrounding invoices
- Monitor incoming payments and make related entries into the accounting system
- Monthly close process: Analyze and input accounting data as needed
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation for assigned account(s)
- A/R reporting and reconciliation: Provide monthly A/R reports to program staff overseeing sales and partnership efforts
- Maintain and improve monthly and quarterly reconciliation process to ensure accuracy of all earned revenue data
- Perform other reconciliations as needed
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of vendor account records with customers and partners
Special Projects and Other Responsibilities
- Assist in ongoing process improvement as part of the team, including supporting efforts to adopt new tools and platforms
- Continuously learn and develop your accounting skills and knowledge of our programs, in partnership with the Managing Director of Finance and Operations and Director of Finance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; major in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience, with knowledge of basic accounting and accounting transactions
- Experience with Accounts Receivable a plus
- Proficiency with Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail - you thrive on being thorough, accurate, and precise in all you do
- Curiosity to learn new things and desire to deeply understand all aspects of your finance and accounting work - you constantly ask questions, take notes for your own reference, and don’t hesitate to confirm your understanding when needed
- Proactive, pragmatic, and resourceful problem solver – you enjoy trying to figure things out
- Ability to work efficiently, smartly, and within an entrepreneurial environment, with demonstrated ability to be a self-starter

Benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience. Array Education offers a competitive benefits package, including subsidized health insurance (medical, dental, vision), disability insurance, 401(k) match, unlimited sick time, 18 holidays, and 15 PTO/vacation days.
Location
This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in-person in lower Manhattan.
