Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance contracts and reimbursement procedures, ensuring that all transactions comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Handle high-volume transactions efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues relating to accounts receivable.
  • Analyze and report on financial status including income statements and exceptions.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reduce the number of delinquent debt accounts.
  • Ensure all transactions are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and update customer files, including contact information, billing details, and collection activity.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the marketing industry.
  • Proven experience with HIPAA, high volume transactions, insurance contracts, and reimbursement procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • A Professional certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) is a plus.
