Responsibilities

• Manage collections activities and proactively follow up on outstanding customer accounts
• The AR & Collections Specialist will reconcile customer accounts and research billing discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
• Partner with sales and customer service teams to maintain positive customer relationships while collecting outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate customer account records and payment documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve AR and collections processes as the company continues to grow
• Assist with additional accounts receivable and accounting duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive account conversations professionally
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritize multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is preferred
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
