Accounts Receivable Associate

About the role

At Hunter Truck, our family-owned Peterbilt dealership has been serving Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Jersey, and New York since 1938. We are looking for a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Making collection calls for past due accounts and supporting their resolution
• Processing credit applications for new and existing customers
• Sets up new customer accounts and Cash on Delivery (COD) accounts
• Maintains and organizes tax exempt certificates
• Posts Peterbilt and PACCAR warranty transactions
• Accepts and processes credit card payments
• Calculates, posts, and verifies financial data including invoices, account statements, and payments
• Posts transactions using the appropriate general ledger accounts
• Maintains accurate and organized account records
• Performs additional duties as assigned, including overtime when necessary
• Adheres to all health and safety policies to support a safe work environment

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent required. On-the-job training and computer software training provided.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required for inter-company travel; must meet company insurability standards
• Physical Requirements: Regular sitting throughout the workday. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
