About The Role The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team, working in a multi-faceted and dynamic work environment, ensuring payments and procedures are compliant with company policy, and ensuring company assets are protected. What You’ll Do Here Mentor, communicate, develop, train, and provide guidance and direction to AP staffMonitor and manage AP workflows to ensure invoices and expense reports are processed, accurately, in accordance with company policy and payments are completed timelyParticipate, contribute and, or lead process reform, executing changes in procedure, process and operations to improve controls and maximize efficiencyServe as contact for reconciliation and resolution of complicated issues, working with vendors and locations to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes, managing and maintaining supplier accounts so they are in good standingBuild solid relationships across all business units and various levels of management, providing and garnering cooperation and positive interaction with co-workersDevelop, evaluate and provide regular & routine feedback to team members regarding performance, service levels and KPI’sDevelop and work as one of the teamCommunicate and escalate issues of non-compliance or concern to managementBack Up vendor management, including setup of new vendor process, obtaining W9’s and ACH bank detailsBack Up and provide necessary support during the completion of the annual 1099MISC reportingReadiness to go the extra mile to avoid mistakes and produce new opportunitiesConversant with internal control procedures and conceptsAbility to adjust to diverse ideas, impressions or schemes from individuals or changing preferencesAdditional responsibilities to be determined as needed What You’ll Need To Succeed 3-5 years of previous Accounts Payable Supervisory experience or5 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience in a lead positionKnowledge of Workday Accounts Payable preferredExperience with OCR and/or Scanning Technology a plusProficiency with ExcelTime management and workload efficiency skillsPrevious P2P experience helpfulAbility to delegate duties, tasks, and reportsAbility to communicate effectively, both verbal & written, with internal & external customersPrevious experience in engineering, redefining & documenting processes & proceduresPrevious experience with the development & implementation of KPI’sPrevious Project Management experience also helpfulBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to work under pressure and within time constraintsPersistence with finishing projects and assignments in spite of hindrancesA positive attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills. What We Offer The salary range estimated for this position is $56,000 - $90,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
