Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Hybrid positions available in Cincinnati, St. Louis, or Cleveland, OH.

Compensation range: $55,000–$65,000.

Responsibilities

• Set up vendor records in Aderant and input the correct 1099 classification.
• Accurately enter invoices into Aderant, manually or through import.
• Administer the review, approval, export, and import of all Chrome River Invoices and Expenses.
• Administer the Firm MasterCard program and perform the monthly statement reconciliation through Chrome River.
• Prepare payment schedules for domestic vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and foreign vendor invoices.
• Void checks when requested and reissue when necessary.
• Research client and/or firm charges as requested; respond to vendor/staff inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Reconcile vendor accounts in the event of a payment misapplication.
• Reconcile USPTO account on a monthly basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Related experience in business, accounting, or finance.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Minimum of two years of accounts payable experience.
• Law firm experience is preferred but not required.
• Aderant, Elite, and/or Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River) systems experience is preferred but not required.
