Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Performing accounts payable processing for multiple plant locations
  • Aiding with monthly and yearly reporting
  • Printing, matching, and disbursing AP checks weekly
  • Providing customer service to employees/vendors
  • General office administration – answering telephones, directing calls, filing, etc.
  • Reconciling accounts, analyzing invoices, researching, and correcting discrepancies
  • Providing support during month-end closing
  • Daily billing

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of AP experience, including invoice processing (high-volume, multi-entity) and Payment Runs (ACH, Check, Wire)
  • Experience with high-volume purchase order 3-way match
  • Financial Software experience. Microsoft D365 is a plus
  • Ability to analyze invoices and reconcile accounts
  • Ability to work with remote/off-site locations
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Knowledge of financial software, particularly Microsoft D365
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts
