Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and processes account payable in a timely manner.
  • Codes invoices and check requests with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with the processing of invoices and follows up on pending issues.
  • Prepares check requests, wire transfers, and ACH transactions for payment.
  • Reconciles vendor statements on a monthly basis, researching any discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred with two years’ experience in an accounts payable role.
  • Minimum of 2 years associates degree or 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience working with multiple locations and entities.
  • Experience in cost accounting, but not required.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PDFs.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Work Schedule

This is not a remote position. This position reports to the Corporate Headquarters, Monday – Friday, during normal business hours.
