The Role
You will play a vital role in supporting Brightway Living & Learning’s Finance department. You will work closely with your fellow team members, assisting with tracking invoices, data entry and audit functions.
What You Will Do
- Track all external invoice submissions for timely and proper approval
- Download mass data associated with submissions to integrate into financial reporting software
- Understand and apply expense classification and general ledger coding rules
- Data entry of Accounts Payable invoices
- Vendor account analysis
- Execute timely electronic/online payments
- Filing and general organizing of Accounts Payable records (paper and electronic files)
- Assist Accounting staff with research and documentation
- Assist in audit research and documentation
- Cross train in all Accounts Payable functions
- Additional tasks, as needed
What You Bring To Brightway Living & Learning
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Some Accounting or Finance college credits preferred
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attentive to details and accuracy
