Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

City Wide Facility Solutions keeps businesses running smoothly behind the scenes and is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time to prevent service disruptions
• Manage vendor payables, including recording expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
• Support accounts receivable and assist with annual financial and workers' compensation audits
• Maintain vendor files, ensure contractor compliance, and reconcile independent contractor invoices
• Track and manage company equipment and assets
• Affiliate with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
