About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Monitor payment schedules and deadlines to prevent late payments.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounts payable software such as Oracle, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
