Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Littleton, CO (Hybrid, in-office) Pay rate: $26-28/hr Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k). We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist, responsible for high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable processing, complex invoice coding, vendor management, and 1099 compliance. This position will support the organization's mission through accurate and timely financial operations. Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely mannerApply complex coding across multiple funds, grants, programs, and/or cost centersResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and coding questionsPrepare and process vendor payment batches (checks, ACH, wire transfers)Monitor payment status and respond to internal and external payment inquiriesSet up and maintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and verificationPrepare and file 1099 forms in compliance with IRS requirementsMaintain organized, audit-ready vendor and payment documentationEnsure compliance with organizational policies and any applicable grant or funding source requirementsPerform account reconciliations related to accounts payableAssist with month-end and year-end close activitiesSupport internal and external audit requests, including grant/funder audits, as neededIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency Systems NetSuiteExcel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formula creation Requirements 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a non-profit or fund/grant accounting environmentNetSuite system experience or similar ERP requiredExperience with complex multi-fund or multi-program codingExperience with vendor setup and 1099 processing Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
