Accounts Payable Manager
About the role
Manages the daily activities of a high-volume, fast-paced Accounts Payable team comprised of direct reports and team leads, including both exempt and non-exempt employees. The team supports multiple lines of business within the organization, with responsibility focused exclusively on payables associated with new contract fundings rather than general AP.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities for Accounts Payable, coordinating with other departments.
- Ensure the team is adequately staffed and all personnel are trained.
- Assist with daily workflow when required, especially on high volume days, requiring attention to detail in high pressure situations.
- Review and recommend new methods and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Plan and schedule activities to align with operational goals.
- Resolve complex problems and ensure quality of service levels.
- Prepare and monitor reports for compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with Cash Reconciliation team to ensure reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and adjust processes if required to fix any issues identified in the cash reconciliation.
- Make independent decisions and maintain flexibility in changing priorities and deadlines.
- Use various computer-based systems and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3+ years of accounting and/or accounts payable with management experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Payables systems for checks, wires, and ACH
- Experience with Oracle Lease and Finance Management System (OFLM)
Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)
Workplace Type
Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and work-from-home opportunities. Remote roles will have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.

Pay
Compensation Range: $52,000 - $101,000 Annual Salary. The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
