Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment processing
  • Supervise and mentor AP team members
  • Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment batches
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor AP aging and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Develop and improve AP policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Partner with accounting and leadership teams on reporting and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Previous AP leadership or management experience required
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices
  • Experience managing high-volume invoice processing
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with day-to-day responsibilities
