About the role
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely payments. This role also involves managing accounts payable processes, reconciling invoices, and communicating with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy in payment entries
- Maintain vendor records and update information as needed
- Manage accounts payable processes including check issuance and reconciliation
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounts payable software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Understanding of financial statements and budgeting
