About the role

The Accounts Payable Analyst at Stellantis is responsible for interacting with various operating groups and vendors to provide payment processing support and issue resolution. This includes performing month-end activities such as month-end reporting, monitoring month-end metrics, analyzing trends in data, and recommending process improvement initiatives to management. Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and facilitating random sample testing on a quarterly basis is also part of the role.

Additionally, the position involves working with Stellantis IT groups on Accounts Payable-related system enhancements and supporting intercompany consolidations. The analyst will also collaborate with the Accounts Payable offshore group to ensure efficient payment processing and providing support for intercompany consolidation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Month End Activities Including Month-end reporting, monitor month end metrics, analyze trends in data and recommend process improvement initiatives to management
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and facilitate random sample testing on a quarterly basis
  • Work with Stellantis IT groups on Accounts Payable related system enhancements
  • Work with Accounts Payable offshore group to ensure efficient payment processing
  • Supporting Intercompany Consolidations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; or related degree
  • A general understanding of core Finance and Accounting principles
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, MBA or equivalent
  • Prior internship(s) Finance or Accounting related

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with financial systems and processes
