Accounts Payable Analyst
About the role
The AP Analyst position at Permian Resources is a permanent role based in Midland, Texas. Reporting to the AP Manager, this role involves all aspects of accounts payable administration, including invoice coding, routing through approval workflows, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
Responsibilities
- Aid in coding capital, facility, and general and administrative (G&A) type invoices and routing them through various approval workflows
- Communicate effectively with AP team members, other departments, and external vendors
- Support vendor relations as needed
- Handle manual invoice entries
- Contribute to daily invoice imports
- Assist with reconciliation and entry of company cards and personal expenses
- Prepare reclassifications and journal entries
- Manage confidential information responsibly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Resourcefulness and proactivity in addressing issues
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of oil and gas accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency with Quorum, OpenInvoice, Spotfire, and Microsoft suite

Pay
Salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The AP Analyst works a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
